What I’m Thankful for Today

Okay, I realize I’m a day late on my quintessential “thankfulness” post, but here it is anyway.

As you probably know (look over to the right, behold my new button), my last blog post on Black Friday was Freshly Pressed! It was a huge honor and it garnered more attention than I could have even imagined. Which brings me to what I’m thankful for: my blog readers!

From you who have been there from the beginning to those who found me in these past couple of days, I am honored, amazed, and humbled that you decided you like what I have to say so much that you’ll follow the blog. As a writer, I don’t always write specifically for my audience, but it means the world that what I write means something to someone or resonates with people.

I got the nicest, most informative and insightful comments on my last post. I really appreciated every single one of them. And, by the way, I read them all. I tried to respond to everyone, but yesterday, it kind of got out of hand when I was without Internet access for most of the day (celebrating Thanksgiving out in the boonies, the American way). So, if I didn’t reply to your comment, I’m really sorry, but I promise I did read it. All the way through. Out loud, to my husband, on the drive home.

In short, to everyone who has read and will continue to read what I have to say: thank you, thank you, thank you!! You have overwhelmed me with your kindness.
